Misteri i qytetit të humbur të Atlantidës, nxit ende imagjinatën e miliona njerëzve. A ishte i vërtetë apo vetëm një mit? Më poshtë po paraqesim faktet kryesore:

Soloni (638 -558 P.E.S) ishte ligjvënës dhe poet i njohur lirik nga Athina, që dyshohet se e ka dëgjuar historinë e Atlantidës nga priftërinjtë egjiptianë të cilët i kishte vizituar, duke pohuar se athinasit e kishin harruar historinë e tyre të vërtetë, për shkak se kohë pas kohe qytetërimi i tyre qe shkatërruar në masë të madhe nga katastrofat.

Atlantida u përshkrua për herë të parë nga filozofi grek Platoni, më shumë se 2000 vjet më parë.

Ndërsa shumë besojnë se historia është një mit i krijuar nga Platoni për të ilustruar teoritë e tij mbi politikën, të tjerë këmbëngulin se ai është bazuar mbi një katastrofë historike të vërtetë.

Pas një përpjekje të dështuar për të pushtuar Athinën, i gjithë ishulli u zhyt në det “në një ditënatë të vetme fatkeqësie”.

Përgjatë shekujve, dijetarët janë përpjekur të gjejnë Atlantidën e vërtetë – duke besuar se dëshmia bazohet mbi një superfuqi të lashtë të vërtetë.

Një nga teoritë më të mundshme, është se Platoni qe duke përshkruar qytetërimin Minoan në Kretë dhe ishullin fqinj të Santorinit, që u shkatërrua nga një shpërthim masiv vullkanik rreth vitit 1600 P.E.S.

Disa besojnë se miti i Atlantidës është frymëzuar nga përmbytjet e Detit të Zi rreth vitit 5000 P.E.S- një ngjarje që mund të ketë prodhuar edhe historitë e përmbytjeve që shfaqen në Dhjatën e Vjetër.

Priftërinjtë egjiptianë iu referuan “Shfaqjes së Trupave Qiellorë”, pra meteoriteve, të cilat do të shkaktonin shkatërrime në planet.

Priftërinjtë egjiptianë e kuptuar se kohë pas kohe kishte patur katastrofa të rënda natyrore që përfshinin zjarrin dhe ujin (nga të cilat ata kishin qenë në masë të madhe të mbrojtur). Ata i atribuan këto veprime Zotave.

Një luftë u zhvillua ndërmjet Athinasve dhe Atlantidasve.

Athinasit vinin nga Athina, ndërsa Atlantidasit me sa duket nga një ishull përtej shtyllave të Herkulit (Ngushticës së Gjibraltarit)

Lufta u zhvillua 9000 vjet para kohës së shkrimit, e cila ishte rreth 2.500 vjet më parë nga sot – pra në fakt 11.500 vjet më parë.

Atlantida u shkatërrua me gjasë nga një tërmet.

Toka athinase qe pjellore, dhe në gjendje për të mbështetur një ushtri të madhe.

Shumë përmbytje ndodhën gjatë 9.000 viteve të para të histories së rregjistruar.

Shumë nga shkëmbinjtë përreth kësaj toke (Athinës) u gërryen dhe u zhytën në det. Shumë pyje që dikur kanë ekzistuar u zhdukën. Toka ishte më pak e gërryer, dhe gjithnjë e më shumë reshje binin në det.

Drithërat lulëzuan në tokë pjellore.

Fëmija i parë Poseidonit (i lindur më Atlantidë) u quajt Atlas, dhe oqeani rreth ishullit u emërtua Atlantik.

Që përtej Shtyllave të Herkulit, qyteti i humbur i Atlantidës kontrollonte ishuj dhe toka po aq sa edhe Egjipti.

Ata kishin tregti të gjerë me vendet e tjera.

Orikalcium (një metal i panjohur me ngjyrë të kuqe ose aliazhi i mundshëm nga një përzierje e bakrit dhe arit) ishte e zakonshëm në ishull.

Ishulli qe shumë i pyllëzuar.

Në ishull kishte një numër të madh elefantësh.

Ishulli kishte pemë gështenje.

Qyteti/ishulli ekzistoi për një kohë të mjaftueshme sa që shumë sundues/mbretër mundën ta zhvillojnë atë.

Qyteti i humbur i Atlantidës kishte një kanal nga deti deri në një lagunë të brendshme.

Në ishullin e Atlantidës nxirreshin tre lloje gurësh, të kuq, të zinj dhe të bardhë.

Ato përdornin bakër për të mbuluar vendbanimet e tyre dhe bronx, kallaj e orikalcium për të mbuluar muret e jashtme të qyteteve të tyre.

Tempulli i Poseidonit në qendër, kishte një pamje barbare dhe çatia (e brendshme) ishte e bërë me fildish.

Në tempull kishte një statujë të Zotit në një karrocë.

Qyteti i humbur i Atlantidës përdorte banja publike dhe private, dhe më pas e ruante ujin për përdorimin e tij në fusha.

Mbi 11.000 vjet më parë ka ekzistuar një komb ishullor i ndodhur në mes të oqeanit Atlantik, dhe i populluar nga një racë fisnike dhe e fuqishme.

Populli i këtij vendi zotëronte pasuri të mëdha, falë burimeve natyrore që gjendeshin në të gjithë ishullin e tyre. Ishulli qe një qendër e tregtisë.

Sundimtarët e këtij vendi kishin ndikim mbi njerëzit dhe tokën e ishullit të tyre dhe mirëqënien e popujve deri në Evropë dhe Afrikë.

Atlantida ishte pronë e Poseidonit, zotit të detit. Kur ai ra në dashuri me një grua të vdekshme, Kleiton, ndërtoi një banesë në majë një kodre pranë qendrës së ishullit, dhe e rrethoi atë me unaza uji dhe toke për ta mbrojtur.

Kleito lindi 5 çifte djemsh binjakë, të cilët u bënë sundimtarët e parë të Atlantidës.

Ishulli u nda midis vëllezërve, me të madhin Atlasin, mbretin e parë të Atlantidës, që mori kontrollin e kodrës qëndrore dhe zonave përreth.

Në majë të kodrës qëndrore, u ndërtua një tempull për nder të Poseidonit, ku u vendos një statujë gjigande ari e Poseidonit, hipur mbi një karrocë të tërhequr nga kuaj me krahë. Pikërisht këtu të parët e Atlantidës do të mblidheshin për të diskutuar ligjet, vendosur gjykime, dhe  paguar haraçe ndaj Poseidonit.

Për të lehtësuar udhëtimin dhe tregtinë, u ndërtua një kanal uji përmes unazave të tokës dhe ujit të rrjedhshëm në jug për 9 km deri në det.

Qyteti i Atlantidës ndodhej jashtë unazës së jashtme së ujit, dhe shtrihej në të gjithë fushën që mbulonte një hapësirë rrethore prej 1.7 km. Kjo qe një zonë me popullsi të dendur, ku jetonte shumica e popullsisë.

Përtej qyteti, shtrihej një fushë pjellore 530 km e gjatë dhe 190 km e gjerë, e rrethuar nga një tjetër kanal, që përdorej për të mbledhur ujin nga lumenjtë dhe përrenjtë e maleve.

Përreth fushës në veri ndodheshin male me maja të larta të cilat ngriheshin deri në qiell. Fshatrat, liqenet, lumenjtë dhe livadhet pasuronin këto male.

Përveç të korrave, ishulli siguronte të gjitha llojet e bimëve, frutave dhe arrave. Një bollëk  kafshësh, duke përfshirë elefantët popullonin ishullin.

Për breza të tërë, Atlantidasit jetuan një jetë të thjeshtë e të virtytshme. Por ngadalë ata filluan të ndryshojnë. Lakmia dhe pushteti filloi t’i korruptojë.
